چکیده
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are oncologic therapies that induce non-specific immune activation, which may lead to cutaneous immune-related adverse events (cirAEs) mimic various inflammatory skin diseases. The pathogenesis of these cirAEs is unknown. We report the profile ICI-induced lichen planus (LP) and vitiligo in a prostate cancer patient on cemiplimab. Baseline post-skin-directed therapy biopsies were obtained from representative LP, vitiligo, non-lesional (NL) areas. performed TaqMan Low Density Array qRT-PCR characterize immunologic profiles conditions, contrast matched healthy volunteers (n=3) idiopathic patients (n=5). At baseline, there was upregulation Th1 (CXCL10 2137-, 848-, 28-fold NL, respectively; CXCL9 1047-, 613-, 31-fold), Th17 (PI3 395-, 2-, 8-fold), Th2 (IL33 2- 2-fold LP CCL22 5- 2-fold) pathways compared volunteers. In patients, this demonstrated more pronounced skew increased 177- 118-fold, respectively), but comparable expression. Given findings, received ustekinumab for Th1/Th17 blockade dupilumab blockade. achieved clinical improvement, repeat biopsies, aforementioned genes NL approached expression levels near This case provides insights into immunophenotypes explores potential treatment with pathogenesis-directed therapy. Further study differences between their counterparts warranted.

Qualitative and quantitative study of immune cells in various types of cutaneous lichen planus
Background: Lichen planus (LP) is a common inflammatory skin disease. Pathogenesis of LP includes two possible mechanisms; related or unrelated to antigen. Regarding different clinical features of cutaneous and mucosal types of LP, for the first time, we decided to perform a qualitative and quantitative study of immune cells in different types of cutaneous LP and in comparison with normal skin....

this thesis aims to adduce an unmitigated and comprehensive explication concerning the relationship of three significant elements of fiction: setting, chracter and theme. my research is basically placed on two outstanding novels of the 19th century: emily brontes wuthering heights and thomas hardys return of the native. my endeavour lies in studying the correlation among the three above-mention...

Ipilimumab is a monoclonal antibody directed against CTLA4 T-lymphocyte antigen used as cancer therapy. Immune-related adverse events are common side effects and may include hypophysitis-related hypopituitarism. The clinical features of six patients with ipilimumab-induced hypophysitis (IH) are described. The clinical features of IH reported in clinical trials, including the incidence of IH by ...
متن کاملAssociation of Porokeratosis, Vitiligo, Lichen Sclerosus et Atrophicus and Lichen Planus: A case report
Although lichen planus and vitiligo are common skin disorders, their association with two other uncommon diseases, i.e. lichen sclerosus et atrophicus and disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis, seems to be a very rare occurrence. We report herein a 70-year-old man who developed all of these four skin disorders simultaneously.
